The school’s world class 23 acres campus houses an impressive array of facilities for the children. The school offers facilities for academics, sports, dining and co-curricular activities that conform to International standards.
The ultra-modern school building with plush interiors is equipped with ergonomic furniture, spacious classrooms with digital smart classes, modern laboratories, a well-stocked library and impressive studio for art, craft, dance and music. English, Science, Mathematics, Social Science and Language labs and clubs are set up for the students as it provides the children an ideal environment for academics as well as co-curricular activities.
The sports facilities have been designed to give the children an option to pursue their chosen sport all years round so that they can excel in it. The facilities include an Olympic size 400-meter track, Hockey and football field, a gym, a yoga hall and turf courts of tennis, basketball, badminton, and volleyball. Other games that students may opt for include cricket, football, table tennis, tennis, skating, karate and a wide range of indoor games.
We have an Olympic size 10 meter shooting range of Olympic standard and the best revolvers and rifles of International standard. The shooting range is a big hit as Pathankot being the second largest cantonment in the world manning 65000 soldiers is a great inspiration for students to take up careers in the armed forces.
The school provides vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Every meal is accompanied by a fruit or a dessert. Dal, rice, chapattis, vegetables, salads and curd are a regular feature. Breakfast generally consists of porridge, cereals, eggs, cutlets, bread, butter, jam and milk. Mid morning meals consists of flavored milk in summers and hot soups in winters along with a snack. Evening refreshments consists of a snack accompanied by milk in winters and lemon water in summers. Cocoa milk is served after the last meal of the day to the boarding students.
The School provides for a 12 bed hospital and an infirmary which is well equipped to cater to minor injuries and sickness. This is looked after by a nursing attendant and a visiting doctor. In case of emergencies, the school has tie ups with numerous specialists nursing homes in the city. The resident nursing sister is available round the clock.
Regular medical check-ups are held to monitor the general health of the children. Home visits in case of serious illness are purely at the discretion of the School.
The school possess a well-stocked library with over two thousand volumes which include some great names like Will Durant, CDM Kettle bee, William Shakespeare, Thomas Hardy, George Orwell, J. Krishnamurty, Munshi Premchand, Jaishankar Prasad, Gandhi, Nehru and others. The resource center forms an integral part of the students’ learning process. Students are allotted ample time and opportunity to make use of the resource center. They are provided with the facility of downloading information vital to their courses and for general awareness. At the same time, it is expected that the children respect the resource center and its working system.
