A farewell in school is important because it marks the end of an important chapter in students’ lives and prepares them for new beginnings. The Indian Heritage School treated the outgoing batch of grade X and XII with a beautiful soiree held on 1st February 2025 at School’s auditorium. It was an emotional and memorable event, organized by Grade 9th and 11th students along with the faculty, to bid adieu to the outgoing batch and celebrate their journey in school. The event was attended by students, teachers, and staff, making it a heartfelt occasion filled with nostalgia and excitement for the future.
Event Proceedings:
1. Welcome and Opening Speech
The event began with a warm welcome by the hosts, followed by an inspiring speech from the school principal, who praised the students for their dedication and achievements. The principal encouraged them to carry forward the values instilled in them during their school years.
2. Cultural Performances
Grade 10th students put together a series of entertaining performances hyping the ambience of the party.
3. Awards and Titles
To make the farewell more thrilling, exhilarating titles were given to students. This added a cheerful and celebratory spirit to the event. The Principal made the event exciting by checking the students wisdom through some intellectual question and selected them for The titles of Mr. Farewell and Miss. Farewell.
4. Vote of Thanks and Conclusion
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by students of Grade 12 who expressed gratitude to the school, teachers, and juniors for organizing such a wonderful farewell. The students were then treated to refreshments, capturing the final moments of their school life with group photos and laughter.
